D&C Procurement

Accelerate Maryland Partners, led by Transurban and Macquarie, have been selected as the exclusive Developer responsible for the Predevelopment Work for the New American Legion Bridge I-270 Traffic Relief Plan. We are excited to announce that we have launched the procurement to identify D&C Contractor(s) to deliver the first section of the project, specifically “Phase South” which includes improvements to I-495 from the vicinity of the George Washington Memorial Parkway south of the Potomac River, across and including the American Legion Bridge, to the interchange between I-270 and I-370. Below are the high-level milestones for the procurement.

Our Designer, Dewberry and Stantec, will bring their extensive design, local permitting expertise (SHA PRD and MDE), and knowledge of the corridor to ensure our team develops a tailored, innovative and sustainable design solution.
